Character Name: Sir Didymus

Character Description: Terrier

Character History: Didymus once lived in a kingdom just south of the Goblin City, where he was knighted by the Queen of the Fairies for saving her daughter, Ambrosia (in the process, he lost his eye, causing him to wear an eye patch).  Henceforth, he became Sir Didymus. Ambrosia helped him improve his manners and Sir Didymus became a true gentleman. One day, while trying to help a girl escape from the Labyrinth, Jareth's goblins captured him & took him to
the castle.  As punishment, Jareth mixed up Sir Didy's sense of smell.  Everything that once smelled sweet, now smelled horrible, and vice versa. This hurt Sir Didymus' pride; after all, he is a canine, and relied on his sense of smell.  He had no choice but to take himself off the the Bog of Eternal Stench. To make matters worse, Jareth gave him a timid sheepdog (that was once a goblin) to be his "trusty" steed. Sir Didymus named the dog, Ambrosius, after the girl who mad a great impact on his life. Becoming bored, and having no one but Ambrosius to talk to, Sir Didymus made a pact with himself to not let anyone cross the bridge over the Bog of Stench without his permission. And until, Sarah, Ludo & Hoggle arrived, no one had ever done so.
